Bock Family Reunion Favorite

1st layer

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup butterscotch chips

Melt ingredients together and spread in buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Freeze until firm. (I've found it works easiest if I use Hershey's brands, and I heat the butterscotch chips first, then add the chocolate chips to finish melting them together.)

2nd layer

1 cup sugar 1 cup marshmallow creme

1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup margarine 1-2 cups peanuts

1/4 cup peanut butter

Boil the sugar, milk, and margarine for 5 minutes. Add peanut butter, marshmallow creme, and vanilla. Pour over 1st layer. Sprinkle with peanuts. Cool.

3rd layer

40 caramels

2 Tablespoons water

Melt caramels with water and pour over peanuts

4th layer

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/4 cup butterscotch chips

Melt the ingredients together and pour on top of caramel layer. Keep refrigerated. Cut into small bars.
